MBRC engaged Ryan Civil Contracting to carry out the reconfiguration of the existing priority controlled ‘T’ intersection to traffic signals and the rehabilitation of 5000m2 of asphalt pavement. Due to its location and proximity to local businesses; extensive stakeholder & traffic management was required to deliver the project safely and efficiently.
Project Summary
- Take up and removal of existing kerbs, pathways and concrete pavements
- Construction of 8 heavy duty concrete driveways, whilst maintaining access for local businesses
- 650m2 of foam bitumen stabilisation
- construction of civil stormwater drainage and structures under heavy traffic control
- Coordination and management of electrical sub-contractor for installation of traffic signal infrastructure and street lighting
- Prepare and place 550m of kerb, subsoil dranage and stencilled concrete median strips
- Mill and fill 5000m2 of AC pavement
- Line marking and signage (including business signage relocation)
- Quality landscaping to medians and roadside areas
